The situation in Afghanistan is very critical and there are fears of losing lives. People don’t have enough food, water and shelter in for the upcoming cold winter. Several international organizations have assessed the situation and declared it a priority for humanitarian Intervention. Severe drought, on-going political conflict and natural disasters including earth-quakes are adding up to the crisis. Health system crisis is worsened by the Covid-19 and malnutrition cases on the rise. Although the United Nations and some other organizations those are also involved in protection of the human lives in Afghanistan have urged the international community for urgent support and funding recently, coverage of the whole country still seems challenging. The Afghanistan Humanitarian National Organisation (AHNO), which is a local NGO and have experience in delivery and management of the aid, tries its best to play role in reaching out to people by mobilizing funds from the organizations and people inside and outside of the country to provide humanitarian and life saving assistance to the Afghan people.
